Job summary

Meijer in Edwardsville, IL is hiring a Store HR Representative to support staffing, onboarding, and employee relations as we prepare to open our new store in Spring 2027.

You will partner with store leadership and the regional HR team to implement talent development, total rewards programs and engaging employee experiences. This role requires travel for training until opening and offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in HR preferred.
• Ability to lead, communicate effectively, and engage with store leadership.
• Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of facilitating groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist staffing and selection for leadership and non-leadership roles and manage applicant tracking.
• Oversee onboarding and training to drive engagement and retention.
• Champion engagement through HR initiatives and store programs.
• Ensure effective communication to all team members and follow up with leadership.
• Assist in reporting, talent management, and total rewards processes and programs.
• Provide guidance on career development resources and development goals.
