Job summary

Old Navy in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead daily store operations and coach a high-performing team. You’ll drive profitable sales, oversee merchandising, customer service, and talent development while partnering with the GM to execute the store strategy end-to-end.

Responsibilities include recruiting and developing Brand Associates, maximizing store productivity, and ensuring brand standards with a focus on omni-channel experiences and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good communicator with customers and team.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet business goals.
• Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead store sales strategies and drive results with a customer-centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility and execute action plans.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and monitor retail landscape and competition.
