Job summary

Old Navy in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone, drive profitable sales, and coach a team of Brand Associates and Experts. You will execute the store strategy with the General Manager and mentor Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience for customers.

You will lead operations, merchandising and people development in a fast-paced retail environment, leveraging omni-channel initiatives while ensuring compliance and community

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• A high school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and your team.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Driven by metrics to hit goals.
• Willing to travel as required.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
