Job summary

Gap Inc.’s Old Navy brand is seeking an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager to execute the store business plan and drive profitable sales growth. You will lead customer operations, merchandising and talent development to deliver a best-in-class experience for our customers.

You will coach Assistant Managers, Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to cultivate a high-performing team and will assume leadership in the General Manager’s absence.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of retail management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and coaching ability.
• Ability to meet business goals through team development.

Responsibilities

• Build effective teams and drive high performance and engagement.
• Support achievement of performance goals and developmental plans for store team.
• Execute customer-centric strategies to drive sales and store performance.
• Recruit, onboard, develop and lead a team of managers and associates.
• Lead the team in the absence of the General Manager.
