Job summary

America’s Best in Venice, FL is seeking a General Manager to lead a busy optical store. You’ll oversee daily operations, drive sales, manage staff, and ensure an exceptional patient and customer experience from open to close.

You’ll partner with the Doctor to deliver high-quality eye care, coach and develop associates, set budgets and merchandising plans, recruit top talent, and uphold brand standards while supporting growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience
• Supervising experience preferred
• Knowledge of optical industry preferred
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build associate relationships
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations including staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning and policy adherence
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback
• Monitor store performance and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer and patient experiences
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure highest level of care
• Conduct store audits and uphold standards of quality, merchandising and service
• Manage budgets, supplies, and schedules; recruit and retain top talent
