America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses in Florida seeks a General Manager to lead a high-energy team, drive store performance, and deliver an exceptional patient and associate experience.

You will oversee operations, coaching, budgeting, and partnerships with clinical staff to ensure top-tier service and profitability. A strong retail leadership background and ABO/NCLE certification are valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience.
• Supervising experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the optical industry preferred.
• ABO & NCLE Certified
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong associate relationships.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations, including staffing, inventory management, bookkeeping, planning, and enforcing policies.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback.
• Monitor store performance and guide associates to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure high quality patient care.
• Conduct store audits and uphold standards.
• Maintain open communication with the District Manager and provide accurate reporting.
• Ensure the store meets corporate and safety standards.
• Execute marketing and merchandising initiatives according to brand standards.
• Manage budgets, supplies, and inventory to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top talent with effective scheduling.
• Lead by example to drive sales and service excellence.
