Sur La Table in Seattle is seeking a Store Floor Lead to guide customers through their culinary journey. As MOD, you’ll support the GM/SM in achieving sales and operational goals and serve as the on‑duty leader.

You’ll coach the team, maintain stock, ensure excellent service, and drive a guest‑obsessed culture. The role requires 1 year of retail management, strong leadership and communication, and a passion for community engagement. Schedule is 20–25 hours weekly, on site.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older at time of employment.
• 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in culinary or specialty retail.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to inspire, develop, and retain a high performing team.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Passion for community engagement and providing exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales floor and oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty (MOD).
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and feedback to elevate performance and team engagement.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of new associates.
• Represent Sur La Table’s brand by creating memorable, educational experiences that inspire loyalty.
• Ensure exceptional customer experience by leading a guest-obsessed culture.
• Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner to maintain satisfaction.
• Support achievement of store sales goals through effective customer engagement and team motivation.
• Direct employees to ensure merchandise stock levels and proper merchandising.
