Job summary

Michaels Stores, a leading arts and crafts retailer, seeks a Sales Manager to drive a high-performing selling culture in Irving, TX. You will lead front-end and service operations, ensuring brand standards and KPI achievement through customer-focused coaching and day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities include coaching teams, managing POS systems, and overseeing programs such as Balloons, Loyalty Rewards, and MCC/Extend while delivering an engaging omni-channel experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead front-end and service operations.
• Experience implementing SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion selling culture across the store.
• Coach teams to improve customer experience and sales conversion.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store leadership.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and Self-Checkout systems.
• Oversee store programs (Balloons, Loyalty Rewards, MCC/Extend).
• Drive omni-channel service with BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Train and develop team members across departments.
• Support asset protection and shrink reduction.
