Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Store Manager in the United States to lead a fast-paced team and deliver WOW customer service. You will oversee daily store operations, train crew on the BEST customer service experience, manage onboarding, scheduling, and merchandising, and collaborate with the leadership team to drive sales and control costs.

The position requires at least 1 year of management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.
• Creative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and excellent service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience and fast checkout.
• Oversee daily store activities and ensure staff perform duties effectively.
• Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty and handles store operations and staff management.
• Open or close the store when needed, secure cash, lock doors, and ensure daily readiness.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drive store sales and control expenses through merchandising and staff performance improvements.
• Partner with store leadership on merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Maintain store facilities including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
