Job summary

Rothy’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York City (Upper West Side). You will partner with the Store Manager to drive service, sales, and operational excellence on the floor, while acting as Manager on Duty when needed.

You will lead by example, coach the team, and ensure an exceptional customer experience, while focusing on people leadership, store operations, and brand standards.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of retail experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets through both personal performance and team leadership.
• Strong skills in coaching and developing talent on the sales floor.
• Familiarity with operational processes, including merchandising and shipment.
• Ability to stand/walk an entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Uphold dress code and wear Rothy’s shoes during shifts.
• Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours/week including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model Rothy's Experience through exceptional service on the sales floor and coaching.
• Build customer loyalty through clienteling and relationship-building.
• Drive sales and KPIs by supporting goal-setting and daily coaching.
• Assist in planning and execution of in-store events and activations to grow brand awareness.
• Ensure presentation standards including visual merchandising, cleanliness, and dress code.
