Job summary

Rothy’s in Houston (Galleria) is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager on driving service, sales, and operational excellence. You will lead on the floor, coach the team, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed to ensure a top-tier customer experience.

You will guide hiring, training, and daily operations, while maintaining merchandising and visual standards to uphold the brand promise and store performance.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of retail experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets through personal performance and team leadership.
• Strong coaching and talent development skills on the sales floor.
• Familiarity with operational processes, including merchandising and shipment.
• Ability to stand/walk an entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including peak days and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and model exceptional customer service and selling on the sales floor.
• Partner with Store Manager on recruiting, onboarding, and training a strong team.
• Oversee daily store operations and visual merchandising for a seamless experience.
• Coach team through daily performance, provide feedback, and conduct 1:1s.
• Support events, brand activation, and adherence to brand standards.
