Job summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a hard-working Store Associate to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming shopping environment at our CHLT-PARK ROAD location. You will perform cleaning, stocking, and customer assistance duties while upholding our brand standards.

The role requires ability to stand for long periods, lift, and work flexible hours including nights and weekends; prior retail or cleaning experience is preferred, and team members receive employee discounts and benefit options.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver brand promises.
• Provide a fast and friendly check out experience; execute cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards and enrollments.
• Assist with omni-channel processes (Buy Online Pick Up In Store, Ship from Store).
• Support truck unloading, stocking and planogram processes.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
