Job summary

Michaels, the leading arts and crafts retailer, is seeking team members to maintain a clean, safe store environment while delivering friendly customer service. You will handle cleaning tasks, assist customers, and participate in stocking and Omni-channel processes in a climate-controlled retail setting.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Applicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver brand promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors per procedures.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and return to placement.
• Deep clean bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways and high-traffic areas.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs for replenishment.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Assist with Omni channel processes (BOPIS/SFS).
• Stocking, truck un-load and planogram processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
