Job summary

Michaels Stores in Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a store associate focused on maintaining a clean, safe shopping environment. You will clean floors, restrooms, stock areas, and assist with organizing products while delivering friendly service to customers.

You will assist with curbside/omni-channel processes, help customers locate items, enroll shoppers in rewards programs, and follow SOPs and safety guidelines. Nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean store appearance and recovery standards to deliver brand promises.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help shoppers find products.
• Collect and dispose of trash and dust/mop floors following procedures.
• Move equipment for cleaning and restock supplies as needed.
• Deep clean key areas (bathrooms, break rooms, entryways) to maintain a safe environment.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines; notify supervisor of supply needs.
