Job summary

Michaels is hiring at the DET-ORION TOWNSHIP store for a part-time or full-time role focused on keeping the store clean and inviting while delivering friendly service. You’ll assist customers, help them find products, and support store operations including checkout and rewards enrollment.

The job involves stocking, unloading trucks, and following all SOPs to ensure a safe, welcoming environment. Ideal candidates have retail or cleaning experience, can stand long hours, and are comfortable

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move around the store.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store cleanliness and recovery standards to meet brand promises.
• Provide friendly customer service and help shoppers locate items.
• Collect and dispose of trash per approved procedures.
• Dust and damp mop floors following procedures.
• Move equipment and products for cleaning and restock, as needed.
• Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms and entryways.
• Assist with checkout and enroll customers in Rewards/Private Label cards.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram setup.
• Follow SOPs and company policies at all times.
