Job summary

The Michaels Companies Edgewater store is seeking a part-time Retail Store Environment Team Member to uphold cleanliness and provide friendly customer service. You will help shoppers find products, handle basic checkout tasks, and participate in BOPIS/SFS processes while stocking and organizing shelves in a climate-controlled public space.

Flexibility for early mornings, evenings and weekends is required; prior retail or cleaning experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience preferred.
• Customer service-centric approach expected.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers locate products.
• Assist with checkout, including cash handling and rewards enrollment.
• Support omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS) and truck unloading.
• Stock, rotate and place products in proper planogram locations.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules and company policies at all times.
