Job summary

The Michaels Companies in DET-COMMERCE TOWNSHIP, MI is seeking store team members to maintain a clean, inviting environment and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include stocking, merchandising, and participating in Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store processes.

Related duties cover cash handling, rewards enrollment, and adherence to safety and SOPs. Ideal candidates have retail or cleaning experience, are able to stand for long periods, and meet legal age

Qualifications

• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Must satisfy federal, state and local legal requirements; minimum age 16.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of store cleanliness and appearance.
• Deliver friendly customer service and assist customers.
• Engage customers on rewards programs and private label credit cards; enroll when possible.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship from Store.
• Participate in truck un-loading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies; support shrink and safety programs.
