Job summary

Michaels is seeking a team member to help maintain a clean, organized store environment and assist customers with shopping needs. You will perform cleaning duties across multiple areas, support store operations, and help with basic checkout tasks and rewards enrollment.

The role emphasizes safety, brand standards, and friendly customer interactions in a fast-paced retail setting. Training and benefits are provided where applicable, including employee discounts and benefits options.

Qualifications

• Must be at least sixteen years old.
• Retail or cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of store look and feel including cleanliness and recovery to deliver brand promises.
• Dust and mop floors and dust assigned areas as per procedures.
• Clean key areas including bathrooms, breakrooms and entryways; deep clean high traffic zones.
• Assist with checkouts, rewards program enrollment and omni-channel processes as needed.
• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines; notify supervisor of supply needs.
