Job summary

NAPA Store in Durham, NC is seeking a Store Dispatcher to coordinate deliveries and dispatch drivers efficiently while ensuring accurate parts fulfillment for customers. The role requires strong communication, attention to part numbers, and a collaborative, fast-paced approach.

You will map routes, track service performance, resolve issues for customers, and maintain fleet readiness to support reliable daily operations at our parts distribution center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Keen sense for seeing, hearing and remembering part numbers and line codes.

Responsibilities

• Schedule deliveries and dispatch delivery drivers on a timely basis.
• Ensure correct parts are delivered to the right customer order with precision, speed and courtesy.
• Map routes for efficient, cost-effective deliveries.
• Track and analyze delivery service quality using the Delivery Management System.
• Resolve delivery roadblocks and provide effective solutions for customers.
• Handle cash returned by drivers and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect returned parts and cores and prepare them for return to DC or manufacturer.
• Maintain fleet to ensure vehicles are in safe working order and flag issues.
