Job summary

Meijer is seeking a store leadership professional to supervise day-to-day operations across multiple departments in our Brownsburg, IN location. You will mentor team members, implement strategies to improve customer service and drive sales while ensuring adherence to Meijer standards.

The role emphasizes staffing, succession planning, training, and maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment. You will lead teams, manage P&L, and guide performance during peak hours with a focus on

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2-3 years of related retail experience.
One year of management experience.
Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli.
Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and resolve conflicts.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.
Successful completion of required certifications.

Responsibilities

Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
Mentors and coaches team members to develop skills and promote from within.
Drive store sales and maintain shrink for the department while providing excellent customer service.
Maintain store appearance and ensure operations align with prime shopping hours and company standards.
Provide training to team members and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Lead P&L responsibilities and implement strategies for profitability.
Promote Meijer Friendly Initiative in team meetings and communications.
