Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Big Lots Customer Service Associate you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, greeting customers, assisting with merchandise selection, completing transactions, and answering questions regarding the store and merchandise.

Other duties may include unloading trucks, processing freight, recovering merchandise and stocking shelves,

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments preferred.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Availability for flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Provides customer engagement in a positive and approachable manner.
• Maintains a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Unloads merchandise from delivery trucks and transports items to sales floor.
• Stocks shelves and recovers merchandise.
• Processes transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Maintains safety by being aware of customer activity.
• Performs other duties to support store operations.
