Job summary

Big Lots is seeking motivated individuals to support our Stores as we provide essential products at great values to the communities we serve. As a Customer Service Associate you will greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, complete transactions and answer questions about store and products.

Additional duties include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring a safe shopping environment while handling customer funds through the POS system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent walking/standing.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with merchandise selection.
• Complete transactions accurately using the POS system and handle funds.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, and move merchandise from stockroom to sales floor.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and ensure a safe shopping environment.
• Perform other duties as needed to support store operations.
