Job summary

Big Lots is seeking a Customer Service Associate to greet customers, assist with merchandise selection, and complete transactions at the POS. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, unloading deliveries, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

You will contribute to a safe shopping experience, handle funds accurately, and support ongoing store operations. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Retail, hospitality, grocery or drug store experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform standing, walking and stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful customer engagement and assistance.
• Keep store clean, well-stocked, and organized for customers.
• Unload trucks, process freight, and move merchandise to selling floor.
• Stock shelves and recover merchandise independently.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain awareness of safety and shoplifting prevention.
• Perform other duties to support store operations.
