We are more than just a Parts Store, and we are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down engines—though that’s a plus—but a background in automotive parts is important. This role offers a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other career paths with us. We welcome all applicants!

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions
• Maintaining a customer-focused, energetic environment in our fast-paced stores
• Welcoming customers and creating a positive shopping experience
• Using technology such as computers, cash registers, telephones, and catalogs

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or willingness to learn
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses are a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers

Additional Qualifications (Not Required, But a Plus)

• Passion for automotive or related industries
• Experience in auto body, collision, or retail stores
• Knowledge of cataloging and inventory systems
• Customer-centric mindset
• ASE Certifications
