Join to apply for the Store Counter Sales (Part Time) role at NAPA Auto Parts.

We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you are the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though it’s a plus), but a background in automotive parts is helpful. This role is a great opportunity whether you want to build a career as a Parts Specialist, work full or part-time, or explore other careers within our company.

What You Will Be Doing

• Providing auto parts answers and solutions to retail and wholesale customers in person and over the phone.
• Assisting team members with customer questions using your parts knowledge.
• Delivering outstanding customer service and interactions.
• Bringing energy and customer focus to our fast-paced stores.
• Welcoming customers and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Using technology (computer, cash register, telephone, catalog system).

What You’ll Need

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn.
• High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade school is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good listening skills and empathy for customers.

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)

• Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership industries.
• Experience with cataloging or inventory management systems.
• Customer-centric attitude.
• ASE Certifications (a plus but not required).
