Job summary

Responsibilities include bidding, contracting, budget control, schedule management, and ensuring compliant, on-time store openings; travel 80% with a Friday remote day. This role requires strong leadership, risk management and cross-functional communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CM/Engineering preferred.
• 5-7 years construction industry experience.
• Ability to travel weekly.
• Strong project management and budgeting skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead bidding and contracting for GC/CM and subs on Food Lion projects.
• Prepare bid documents, RFQs, bid plans, and purchase orders.
• Oversee change orders, budgets and schedules to protect scope and cost.
• Coordinate with departments and vendors to ensure on-time openings.
• Review ARCH/MEP drawings for compliance with standards.
• Provide value engineering feedback to engineering.
• Develop phase plans, milestones, and monitor progress.
• Ensure safety and manage risk across a geographic area.
