Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I in Store Development to oversee new store, expansion and remodel projects from pre-construction through close-out. You will manage bidding, contracts, budgeting, and compliance to prototype standards while coordinating with Purchasing, Real Estate, and Operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering and 5–7 years of construction experience, with the ability to travel weekly and work across multiple

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent.
5-7 years of experience in the construction industry.
Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes.
Ability to travel weekly.

Responsibilities

Manage bidding and award processes with GC's, CM's, and subcontractors for Food Lion-contracted projects.
Prepare contracts, purchase orders, processing, and payment of requisitions and invoices for Food Lion-contracted work.
Oversee construction schedules, milestones, and turnover for store openings and remodels.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Refrigeration, Real Estate, Preconstruction/A&E, Operations and other stakeholders.
Ensure safety and quality standards; monitor progress against plans and codes.
