Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I to lead store development, expansions and remodels from pre-construction through punch list closeout. You will manage bids, contracts and budgets, coordinate with internal departments, and ensure timely, compliant project delivery across multiple states.

The role involves 80% travel Monday through Thursday with a remote office day on Friday; candidates residing in NC/SC/VA are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of architectural designs/engineering concepts and processes.
• Ability to travel weekly.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and results oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding processes for GC/CM and subcontractors and oversee vendor performance.
• Prepare contracts, purchase orders, processing, and payment of requisitions and invoices.
• Oversee Change Authorization/Change Order process and ensure timely payments.
• Coordinate schedule development, milestones, and progress with stakeholders.
• Attend weekly project meetings and monitor safety and quality on site.
