Ralph Lauren Corporation seeks an Associate Manager to support the General Manager in strategic planning and execution for a profitable store location. You will influence the team, ensure brand standards, and lead initiatives around client development and community outreach.

Success relies on operational excellence, talent optimization, and adoption of new selling methods while upholding RL brand integrity and customer focus.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent a plus.
• Retail management experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile environment preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office; work around chemicals, lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in analyzing business trends and strategic planning of initiatives for your store location.
• Educate your team on sales and profit performance tools and resources.
• Create a consistent customer experience aligned to RL brand expectations.
• Assist in developing the store client development strategy and lead community outreach in your market.
• Execute the talent strategy, building a team with the customer at its core to deliver the store vision.
• Drive networking and recruitment activities in your store market.
• Provide coaching and learning opportunities to employees.
• Maintain productivity through store processes and inventory control to achieve shrink goals.
• Champion use of new technology in support of New Ways of Selling.
