Job summary

Roses Discount Stor in Zebulon, NC is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to help deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager with daily store operations. You will participate in hiring, training and directing hourly staff, while ensuring store assets are safeguarded and procedures are followed.

The role requires physical stamina, flexibility for full-time or part-time hours including evenings and weekends, and prior retail or management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prefer prior retail and management experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Flexible full-time or part-time schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Open and close procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
