Job summary

Roses Discount Stor is seeking an Assistant Manager/Key Carrier to deliver excellent customer service and support the Store Manager in overall store operations. You will help hire, train, and develop team members, manage day-to-day activities, and ensure the sales floor and stockroom meet company standards.

The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays in a high-energy retail environment, with responsibilities including asset protection and adherence to safety

Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, training, and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
• Support all store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures when the Store Manager is absent.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional environment for customers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Oversee hourly team members in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist with merchandise receipt/returns and freight flow management.
• Plan and implement directives from the Store Operations Weekly Bulletin.
