Steve Madden in West Palm Beach is seeking a part-time Store Assistant Manager to work with the Store Manager on all store operations and to guide, develop, and motivate a team of brand advocates to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with brand values. You will partner on profitability, merchandising, training, inventory control, loss prevention, scheduling, and hiring.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail experience.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to maximize profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and community connection.
• Create excellent customer experiences through a client-focused approach and team collaboration.
• Implement visual merchandising directives to support brand strategies.
• Ensure replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention and safety policies and procedures.
