Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the tone for the store and drive profitable sales growth through customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development.

You will support execution of the store strategy with your GM/AGM and coach Leads, Experts and Brand Associates to deliver a best-in-class experience. This role requires managing a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of retail management experience.
• High-school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communication with customers and team.
• Passionate about retail and fast-paced environment.
• Metrics-driven to meet goals.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to drive store sales and deliver results.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of SOPs.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
