Job summary

Old Navy in Nashville is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead a high-performing team. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer operations, merchandising, and talent development, partnering with the GM to implement store strategy.

You will coach Leads and Brand Associates, ensure standard operating procedures, leverage omni-channel tools, and deliver a best-in-class shopping experience while meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and move around the store.
• Proactive, customer-focused with a metric-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales through customer-centric strategies.
• Recruit, hire and develop Brand Associates and Experts.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure SOPs are followed.
• Represent the brand and understand the retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Travel as required.
