Job summary

Old Navy is seeking an Assistant Manager to set the store tone and lead the team in delivering a best-in-class experience. You will drive profitable sales growth through customer operations, merchandising, and talent development, collaborating with leadership to coach Leads, Experts, and Brand Associates.

You’ll implement strategic plans, recruit and develop staff, and oversee store responsibilities to achieve performance goals.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Excellent communication with customers and team.
• Able to lift up to 30 pounds and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes to drive store sales and deliver results through a customer centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire and develop highly productive Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own assigned area of responsibility.
• Implement action plans to maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties.
• Ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand and understand the competition and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni-channel to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.
