Job summary

Wilcox & Flegel Oil Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily operations at our Borst Park Flyways location. You will supervise shifts, coach staff, and ensure top-tier customer service while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, cash handling, inventory, and safety compliance, with emphasis on training and developing team members to deliver an excellent shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 1 year or more in retail, food service, or customer service, with some supervisory experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field plus 2 years of relevant experience; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during shifts, ensuring adherence to procedures and customer service standards.
• Model and uphold exceptional customer service, resolve inquiries and assist customers effectively.
• Oversee store cleanliness, stock levels, pricing, and display setup to meet company standards.
• Assist with cash handling, balancing registers, and loss prevention measures.
• Uphold safety and security protocols; collaborate with GM on maintenance and safety issues.
