Job summary

Gate Petroleum Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to ensure customer service remains the top priority and to assist with store management in the absence of the Store Manager. The role includes supervising staff, handling daily operations, and resolving customer and employee issues while maintaining cleanliness and ordering of the facility.

The position requires flexibility for weekends and holidays, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Attend to customer needs and assist with locating products.
• Assist customers with checkout and handle cash/credit transactions.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to control store operations and inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and stock shelves.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on store equipment.
