Job summary

Gibbs Oil Company is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenience store location. You will work with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, outstanding customer service, and a well-maintained store environment.

You will oversee store operations, assist with cash handling, inventory control, staff supervision, and training. The role includes supporting marketing efforts, completing daily reports, and maintaining a clean, welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, customer service, or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong leadership to motivate and guide a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of managing inventory and cash handling responsibilities effectively.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to perform job-related driving tasks.
