Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking an Assistant Manager in Houston to enrich the store’s service experience, visual presentation, and daily operations. You will lead a dynamic team, ensure a seamless omni-channel shopping experience, and uphold brand standards while driving sales and profitability.

You will collaborate with partners to onboard staff, train for excellence, and support the Store Manager in recruiting and retention. This role requires flexibility in hours to meet store needs and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store leadership experience required.
• Strong merchant skills with a track record of driving sales and profits.
• Proven ability to develop talent and coach teams.
• History of delivering financial results and achieving store objectives.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drives a service culture through inspiring customer interactions and team engagement.
• Partners with Visual Merchandising on creating engaging store visuals and brand experience.
• Leads omni-channel service through MPOS, POS, and curbside/in-store pickup systems.
• Acts as floor service leader, guiding zones to achieve store objectives and service quality.
• Onboards and develops new hires, providing timely feedback for growth.
• Supports Store Manager in recruiting and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
• Participates in opening/closing procedures and daily operations.
• Collaborates with partners to manage shipments, restocking, and product placement.
