Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot seeks a Store Area Supervisor to oversee daily operations and merchandising for assigned areas, ensuring timely freight flow and superb customer experiences under a Team Leader. This role provides a development path toward future OSJL leadership positions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail environments.
• Customer service experience and training experience preferred.
• Experience with merchandise ordering, receiving, stocking and maintenance.
• Computer skills including Google apps and Qlik.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Champion exceptional customer service in a diverse environment.
• Bridge customer needs with corporate customer service to resolve issues.
• Promote company-wide initiatives and maintain effective schedules.
• Guide and support the team to complete tasks and stay motivated.
• Train store associates and oversee merchandise presentation and pricing.
