Ocean State Job Lot is seeking a Store Area Supervisor to oversee daily operations and merchandising in assigned sections. You will ensure smooth freight flow while prioritizing outstanding customer experiences under a Team Leader's guidance.

This role serves as a development path toward leadership positions, with opportunities to grow within OSJL and contribute to a thriving retail environment across our Northeast stores.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in retail environments.
• Customer service experience preferred, with training and merchandising exposure.
• Experience with stock, receiving, and maintenance in retail settings is a plus.
• Computer skills include Google platform and Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and merchandising for assigned areas.
• Create work schedules and guide the team to complete tasks.
• Support training and growth opportunities for associates.
• Ensure accurate signage, pricing, and backroom stock management.
• Open and close procedures when designated.
• Operate a cash register as needed and uphold company policies.
