Job summary

The Container Store in Edina, MN is seeking a friendly Retail Employee / Project Specialist to help customers in-store and during curbside pickups. You will greet shoppers, suggest storage solutions, and assist at checkout with a focus on a superior customer experience.

You will design and sell custom closets, maintain the selling floor, enroll customers in rewards, and support curbside orders. A flexible schedule and teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all customers in-store or at the front entrance.
• Suggests solutions to organizational challenges.
• Designs and sells custom closets and storage solutions.
• Operates the register with focus on customer experience.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Curbside or in-store merchandise processing as scheduled.
• Maintains the sales floor and presents products per brand standards.
• Assists with curbside pickup and delivery orders.
• Keeps stockroom organized to support selling efforts.
