The Container Store is seeking a Retail Employee / Project Specialist in our New York area store to welcome customers, design and sell storage solutions, and process checkout with a focus on outstanding service.

You will enroll customers in our rewards program, keep the sales floor stocked, assist with curbside orders, and maintain store cleanliness while delivering a memorable shopping experience. The role values teamwork, flexibility, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers and assists with store experiences.
• Suggests solutions to organizational challenges throughout the store.
• Designs and sells storage and organization solutions.
• Processes checkout with a strong focus on customer experience.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Maintains the sales floor and stockroom to brand standards.
• Assists with curbside/delivery orders and carryout.
• Supports cleaning routines and general store upkeep.
• Keeps pace with time expectations and accuracy.
