Job summary

The Container Store in Kansas is seeking a Retail Employee / Project Specialist to warmly greet customers, uncover storage needs, and design personalized organization solutions. You will assist at the register with a high-touch checkout, enroll customers in our rewards program, and help with curbside pickup and delivery orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets customers at the store entrance or throughout the store.
• Suggests solutions to customers’ organizational challenges.
• Designs and sells custom closets and storage solutions.
• Operates as a register with focus on great customer experience at checkout.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Supports early morning or evening merchandise processing depending on schedule.
• Keeps the sales floor stocked and presented per brand standards.
• Assists with curbside pickup and delivery orders.
