Job summary

The Container Store in Alpharetta, GA is hiring a Retail Employee / Project Specialist to help customers have an amazing experience in-store or during curbside pickup. You will greet customers, understand their storage needs, and offer tailored solutions.

You will design and sell custom closets, operate the register with a focus on excellent service, and enroll customers in the rewards program. Also, you’ll assist with stocking and curbside/delivery processes to keep the store running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Understands retail is an ever-changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets customers at the store entrance or throughout the store.
• Connects with customers throughout the store, suggesting storage and organization solutions.
• Designs and sells custom closets and other storage solutions.
• Serves as a cashier with a focus on providing a great customer experience at checkout.
• Introduces and enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Performs merchandise processing during early morning or evenings according to schedule.
• Maintains the Sales Floor per brand standards, keeping shelves full and presentable.
• Supports curbside pickup/delivery and carryout to customers’ cars.
• Assists with cleaning routines and restrooms, vacuuming, etc.
