Job summary

The Container Store is looking for a Retail Employee / Project Specialist in Maryland to welcome customers, suggest storage and organization solutions, and assist with designing custom closets. You will handle checkout with care and enroll customers in the rewards program, ensuring a premium shopping experience.

You will also support curbside/delivery orders, maintain the sales floor, assist with stockroom organization, and help with early-morning or evening merchandise processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience a plus.
• Strong computer skills.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Retail is an ever-changing industry; scheduling flexibility is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets customers at the store entrance or throughout the store.
• Suggests storage and organization solutions to customers.
• Designs and sells custom closets and other storage solutions.
• Operates the register with a focus on customer experience.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Assists with store merchandise processing and curbside/delivery orders.
• Maintains the sales floor per brand standards and assists with stockroom organization.
• Supports curbside pickup and delivery processes.
• Keeps store clean and restrooms/vending areas maintained.
• Performs tasks with accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail.
