Job summary

The Container Store is seeking a Retail Employee / Project Specialist in St. Louis to welcome customers, design and sell storage solutions, and process orders with a strong emphasis on service. You’ll assist with curbside pickups and help keep the store organized and inviting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, retail sales experience is a plus, and strong computer skills. 18+ required; join a team focused on growth, balance, and helping customers transform their spaces.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all customers at the front or throughout the store.
• Connects with customers and suggests storage solutions.
• Designs and sells custom closets and other storage solutions.
• Operates as a register with a focus on customer experience at checkout.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Stocking and merchandise processing in early morning or evening shifts.
• Keeps sales floor neat and presented to brand standards.
• Assists with curbside pickup and delivery orders.
• Organizes the stockroom to support selling efforts.
• Maintains tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
