Job summary

Glacier West Self Storage is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support daily operations, provide guest-friendly service, manage sales, and handle payments at a district-wide level. The role requires strong communication, basic maintenance skills, and independent work with occasional travel to other sites.

The position emphasizes facility upkeep, customer interactions, and coordination with contractors. A valid driver’s license and some maintenance experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Self-Storage, Management or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Light cleaning and maintenance experience.
• Proficiency with computers, smartphones, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work independently without onsite supervision.
• Self-Storage experience is a plus.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility and maintain cleanliness.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries by phone and email.
• Conduct daily site checks and property inspections.
• Assist customers seeking storage units and collect payments.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports, marketing materials, surveys, and inventory.
• Perform light maintenance tasks and operate power tools.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on site.
• Travel within the district to support other locations as needed.
