The Container Store is seeking a Retail Employee / Project Specialist in Los Angeles, CA. You will welcome customers, suggest storage solutions, and design/customize closet spaces while ensuring a superior shopping experience.

You will also manage checkout, enroll customers in rewards, and support curbside pickup and stockroom organization. The role emphasizes customer engagement, flexibility in scheduling, and providing help across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail sales experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills are desired.
• Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
• Retail is dynamic and scheduling may vary.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all customers in-store or at entrances.
• Connects with customers to suggest storage solutions.
• Designs and sells closets and storage solutions.
• Operates the register with focus on a great customer experience.
• Enrolls customers in the rewards program.
• Performs early morning or evening merchandise processing.
• Maintains the Sales Floor and keeps shelves full.
• Assists with curbside pickup and car carryout.
• Assists with store cleaning duties (dusting, restrooms, vacuuming).
• Processes orders for curbside pickup or delivery.
• Organizes the stockroom to support selling efforts.
• Performs tasks with accuracy, timeliness, pace and attention to detail.
• Engages with customers to solve organizational challenges.
