Job summary

The company seeks a commission-based sales professional to build lasting relationships with designers, builders and industry partners, guiding clients through product selections and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include managing design consultations, coordinating stone, quartz and tile selections, and educating clients on features, pricing and lead times.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work occasional Saturdays.
• Desire to work in a commissioned sales environment.
• Capable of thriving in a busy retail setting.
• Ability to develop long-lasting relationships in the local Architecture and Design community.
• Read blueprints and translate client wants into design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Build long-term relationships with designers, builders, fabricators and industry partners.
• Use relationship-selling techniques through design consultations for residential projects to maximize selling opportunities.
• Guide customers through product selection including stone, quartz, tile, sinks, plumbing and related products.
• Coordinate colors, patterns, textures and finishes to create cohesive designs.
• Educate customers on product features, pricing, lead times, and care considerations.
• Document selections accurately and communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Manage the sales process from consultation to purchase and ensure excellent customer experience.
